A comment to DM automation watches comments on your posts and replies to the commenter with a private DM.
1. Choose the trigger
Under Trigger, pick the Instagram account, then Comment on specific posts or Comment on any post. Comment on future posts only covers posts published after you activate.
2. Add keywords
Add the words that should start the automation, or choose Any comment. See how keyword modes work.
3. Write the direct message
Write the text in Direct message. Add a button if you want to send people to a link or a product. Contact capture is optional and covered in its own guide.
4. Set the delay
Under Delivery, choose who gets the message and the Delay (seconds) before it is sent.
5. Try it, then activate
Use Try it to check a comment against your keywords. Nothing is sent. Then open Review and activate and choose Activate automation. Verify your email address first: sends to real people only start once your email is verified.
