DMzio follows the rules of Instagram private replies, so some comments are deliberately not answered.
1. One private reply per comment
Instagram allows one private reply to a comment, and only within 7 days of the comment. After that the window is closed and the send is skipped.
2. Hourly caps
Each automation has an hourly sending cap. Messages over the cap wait instead of being dropped, and Instagram rate limits can hold sends back too.
3. Test without sending
Use Try it in the builder to test keywords. It records a test and sends no message.
4. Read the reason in Activity
Every comment and send shows up in Activity. When a message was not sent, the row says why. These are all the reasons you can see:
- The comment did not match a keyword
- Already sent to this person for this automation
- Another automation handled this comment
- Outside the automation schedule
- Instagram messaging permission is missing
- Instagram account is disconnected
- Could not check whether they follow you
