1. Install the app
In Integrations, choose Shopify then Connect Shopify and enter your store. Approve the install in Shopify.
2. Connect the store to a workspace
Confirm which DMzio workspace the store belongs to and which Instagram accounts it serves. Setup then runs on its own.
3. Sync the catalog
DMzio reads your products. Run a catalog sync from the store page whenever products change. Products that cannot be matched are listed as unresolved mappings.
4. Add product buttons
In the builder, add a button and choose a Shopify product. The link is resolved when the DM is sent. While the store is connected, a product that is unavailable or unpublished uses the fallback link when you set one, otherwise the send is skipped. If the store is disconnected or uninstalled, automations that use it move to Needs attention (store disconnected) and their queued messages are skipped. They stay stopped until you reconnect the store or edit the automation.
5. See attribution
When an order arrives, DMzio first looks for a checkout token that came from a DMzio link. If there is none, it looks for a session click. Without either, the order stays unattributed.
6. Stop on purchase
Follow-ups can be set to Stop on purchase, so a buyer is not chased after ordering.
